Infidelity (n): the breaking of a promise to remain faithful to your partner, either through marriage vows or an unspoken assumption.
It would be naive to say anyone isn’t aware of the price of cheating (as defined in your relationship with your partner).
I give you my first story…
I was twenty-two when I got married in 1993 (please don’t do the math). Shortly after, I began working in a hotel as the Operations Secretary. I had two bosses: the Rooms Director and the Food and Beverage Director. It became very clear that the F&B Director (and his entire department) was far more rewarding to work for compared to the rooms division. We had food events, wine tastings, and I had the opportunity to be far more creative—a particular area where I thrive. There were weekly meetings where I had to record the minutes for distribution for each department. It was always fun in the “Foodie” meetings and half the time was spent joking around. I began to look forward to them, especially with the hotel’s Executive Chef.
